The Nose Knows

I am often amazed at the acuity of a doodle nose. Luca can smell balls when I hide them even if he can't see them. Sometimes I put a ball away, up high and behind things, yet he'll often smell it out and bark until I retrieve it. Sometimes a ball goes missing and I can't see it but I know if he's "telling" me it's there it is.
