We brought our chocolate Australian Multigen Labradoodle, Apollo, home 2 weeks ago. We are so in love, puppy behavior and all! It reminds me of when we brought each of our 2 children home from the hospital...I thought: "I can do this all over again, immediately!"...then reality set in in! Well, we're already thinking about puppy #2, but we're definitely planning to wait until Apollo is at least 18-24 months. I was walking my Goldendoodle, Sky when an empty plastic bag blew across our path. He swore it was alive and hid behind me!

Today in Jacksonville was the annual Trail of Tails to support the Humane Society.

 

As we were leaving there was a man who walked towards us with a goldendoodle that looked much like Bailey.  I asked him how old he was and he said he was 9 months.  I asked him where he got him from and he mentioned a small town close by.  I always think if I see a doodle that looks like Bailey that they might be related..Any way...

Yes that is Jack in a pot, trying to "bloom where he is planted" Actually he was soaking up some sun. That is my theme lately... I am trying to go with the flow, bloom where I am planted even if I hate and despise the situations I am in. I choose to try to find the good, the flowers through the weeds.. and I guess Jack does too

Thanks everyone for your best wishes for my dad, he seems to be OK although he is a little slower than he was and mum says that I mustn't jump on him, which is a shame because dad and I used to love a rough and tumble when he came home from work.

Christopher told mum today that he has booked a week in the New Forest for dad, mum and ME, Hurray its my favourite place in the WHOLE world, all that open space.................... can't wait!!!

Early this year, through the Raw Feeding group on this website, I ran across the Yahoo Raw Meaty Bones discussion group.  I joined and "lurked" for a while, reading the posts.  I have to say, I was totally intimidated by the idea of switching Paddy to a diet of nothing but meat and bones.  Like most dog owners, I was raised on the idea that bones, especially chicken bones, are bad for dogs.  So how could he eat them…
