Olga and Chloe drove in from Tucson to meet Sully and it was love at first sight.  Olga and Chloe loved Sully and he thought that his furever mom and doodle sister are wonderful. Olga and Chloe will come by our house tomorrow morning to pick up Sully for the drive to his new home in Tucson.  …

After being shaved to the skin (I suspect by the previous owner) Sully is now gaining some coat and his doodle beard is growing.  We think he is quite a handsome lad.…

I caught this 40-pound roosterfish fishing off Rancho Leonero on Baja California's East Cape about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas.

I also caught quite a few yellowfin tuna of about 20-25 pounds and a couple of large bull dorado (AKA: mahi-mahi).

However, I am most proud of the roosterfish which was the best of the season from Rancho…

Jeff and I have a running joke that our Milton is such an independent individual, unlike your typical loyal pup, that he could be happy living with just about anybody, as long as that person is capable of throwing a tennis ball.  This fact doesn't make us feel too good, but it is a fact.  Our goldendoodle just doesn't have an awful lot of family allegiance which at times can sting, but we do admire his self-sufficiency.  I would say that we are a bit more dependent on Milton for love…

It had been a fairly dull week until Monday.  Dad Tom was working at a banking school in Madison and wasn’t around nearly as much as I’d like.  Yes we walked 2-3 miles in the morning.  But not only wasn’t he around during the day time, my huge dog park was closed.

The ocean off San Diego is very warm (hopefully as a precursor to an El Nino event which will bring us much needed rain in the fall and winter.
