Banjo and I took a long walk this morning on our heavily sanded road.   Fortunately, because we live by the lake our road isn't salted too.    On returning home I did my best to clean his paws and legs of the wet sand.   UGH!!!   What a mess!

I decided that his paws and legs needed a good trimming.  So I brought out a nice frozen Kong and the vacuum cleaner.

Banjo had a lot of fun taking his test tonite and was rewarded nicely afterwards with his favorite home made liver treats and lots of hugs!

I wasn't sure he'd pass his tests....as he still gets so VERY excited seeing all his friends at "school". But once we got there and I began working with him...doing his heeling, sits and stays...he got right into it and by the time his turn came to test he was ready to go! I came across this on FaceBook today. When I saw that it was constructed of cardboard my initial thought was "Oh sure....this will last about 1 MINUTE!!!" But, on viewing the video it actually looks like something Banjo would really love! It's called "The Amazing Treat Machine". Check it out here -
