OMG!!! This toy is wonderful! Thanks to everyone who posted comments on its product review. I bought one from Amazon and it arrived Thursday. All 3 dogs are having a blast with the squirrels. There is at least one squirrel squeaking at any given time. Sometimes it is quite it is quite a cacophony when all 3 are squeaking, but it is so funny watching the dogs sticking their snoots in the tree looking for the squirrels. Yesterday we made our first visit to the Leita Thompson Dog Park (http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM1EK0). The park is reasonably new. By new I mean it has probably been there a year or two, but we have lived in Roswell since 1983, so new is relative. When we first moved to the Roswell area, what is now the park use to be a very nice horse farm. The family who owned the farm donated it to the city of Roswell. It has been raining for 2 days straight. I know I shouldn't complain as we are coming out of a multi-year drought. But Harlow doesn't like to go outside to 'do her business' in the rain. We are still in house breaking mode, so this means I get to go stand out in the rain trying to convince Harlow that she isn't going to melt.

The 'pack' is always excited when big sister Maddie comes home from work. That is because she works at our vet's office and always brings home treats. I can always tell when Maddie arrives home from work. All three dogs that had been sleeping peacefully in my office suddenly hop to their feet, run down the stairs and wait for Maddie to come through the front door. Yesterday I took Harlow to the vet for her vacs, then past the cleaners to pick up laundry and finally past the bank. She loved greeting everyone as well as getting cookies from cleaners and bank staff, but she wasn't real happy about the car ride. She drooled so much that her chin, front legs and the towel she was sitting on were soaked. We will be doing short car rides every day so she can get use to them.
