The Heroic mother and the Daring doodle

It's Becky's daughter...again. My mom really has to start typing around here! Anyway, my dog, Tucker, did something extremly brave, and not to mention very stupid. Well, we were at the park, taking Tucker for a walk. We walked down to the creek to let him swim a little bit. Tucker is very scared of deep water. He would only stay in the shallow parts of the creek! I kept throwing his ball out to a deep spot in the creek, and Tucker (being a super smart dog) found a way to stick his paw out and… Continue

All pity to Tucker

It's Becky's daughter once again. Tucker, the cute but bad one, has been acting very strange lately. Now, since I want to be a vetinarian's assistant when I grow up, I gave Tucker a check-up. I seem to have a special connection with animals and I usually know exactly what's wrong with them, but this time, Tucker was acting different and I couldn't understand what he wanted. I soon found out that he had an ear infection (that explains the bad smell in our house!). His ear was, well, I'm not… Continue

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!

Becky's daughter here! I have a hilarious story to tell. My mom told me what Tucker has done in the snow. He ran around until he got dizzy. He buried his face in the snow. He got snow all over his nose! Tucker, the white nosed doodle! Had a very chilly nose! And if you ever saw it, you would even say it froze. I can picture it now, Tucker will be the name on everybody's lips! He will be famous for his frozen nose. Silly puppy! Tucker loves snow, and not just to play in! Tucker loves to eat snow… Continue

The doodle, the song, and the Future!

It is Becky's Daughter, your new official "blogger"! I have a vision of the future. Spoooooooky! I have put my Christmas Tree up last night. In about 20 minutes, Tucker, the ravenous doodle, will eat up all of my favorite ornaments on the tree! He will eat all the ones on the bottom first, and then he will jump up and get all of the ones on the top! Last year we lost numerous ornaments. Tucker is a hilarious doodle that consumes everything! I made up a song about what he will eat. I know he… Continue

Tucker and the Fall leaves

It's me, Becky's daughter. I love to post blogs about Tucker. Here is one very funny story. Well, lets say that Fall is many PEOPLES favorite season. But, dogs can have favorites, too. Right? Tucker is one of those dogs. He loves Fall. I can tell because...I don't want to spoil the surprise! It was a beautiful Fall day and I was outside in the backyard where there were numerous leaves spread over the ground. Tucker was rambunctiously sprinting across the yard with his ball. I was extremely… Continue

The Bad Doodle (and daughter) ... a year later.

I haven't posted to my blog since January 2009. No worries- it appears my 10 year old daughter has kept doodle lovers across the country updated on our latest doodle exploits. A good parent would know when their daughter is on-line and approve the posts, a mediocre parent would not admit they had no idea their daughter was "blogging" behind their back. Me - so busted. I had no clue. I should probably check my FaceBook page after this. Yeeeessssshhhhh.

So, I see you heard about the… Continue

The mud puddle...

It is Becky's daughter again. Let me tell you the story of Tucker and the mud puddle. Well, I was with him in Bryan Park and we were taking a little stroll. I kept him off of the leash because I occasionally threw his ball. It rained over night and there was a monsterous mud puddle on the ground. Tucker, who was so hot and thirsty, had a mischevious look in his eye. First, he walked over and sniffed the mud puddle. Then, he had a refreshing drink. Thirdly, he started batting the water with his… Continue

Haircut!

This is Becky's daughter again! My dog had a haircut a couple of months ago. Tucker, the goldendoodle, was ashamed at first, but now he won't be all hot in the summer. He used to be 4 times bigger than he was now! That is because his hair was everywhere! Tucker is 1 years old but he looks like a bear! If we didn't give him a haircut, then he would look like king-kong. We are still not sure if he is a big dog, or a small bear. I love my dog Tucker, even if he is ashamed of his haircut!

The Big 1 Year Old!

This is Becky's daughter. Tucker, my goldendoodle, just turned 1 a few weeks ago. He is still being a real bad doodle. He ate my favorite T-shirt! I bought a cupcake for Tucker. I put a little doggy bone on top of it.Tucker snatched that cupcake right out of my hand and consumed the whole thing in about 6 seconds. I am so happy for my ambitious, loving, crazy, big, sweet, furry, and wild dog. I love my big one year old with all my heart! Tucker is awesome!

Love my Bad Doodle

Tucker is my first dog. He is the sweetest, kindest, gentlest, funniest, most adorable dog I have ever met. That being said, he is bad. Really bad. (think Marley) And, I STINK at doing anything about it. He is so endearing, he is getting away with murder. Where do I begin? Come when called? Nope. Greets guests politely? Nope - exuberantly, yes, politely, no. Loose leash? Not even close and if he gets any bigger I will have to look into getting my shoulder reset. I used to have a lovely back… Continue
