It snowed overnight! I am getting so excited. Thanksgiving is next week, my tree is up, I have bought Darwin a bunch of great Christmas presents, and it snowed. Yay! It started snowing last night and we woke up to about a foot and a half, deeper in some places. It's the first big snow of the year so I knew Darwin would be excited to play in the snow for the first time... I am editing some videos to upload in a bit of him playing in it. But for now I'll just show you the aftermath...

And the aftermath of the snow itself... I don't know why this snow was so heavy and destructive but it was. Does 1 foot snow usually do this? Several trees at my complex have been broken.

Looks like Darwin is wearing white boots! He is just so adorable. He must have had a marvelous time in the snow.

Cute pic of Darwin and his snow "leg warmers." That must be some wet sticky snow! None here yet - we usually don't get anything to speak of until January.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow doodles. Since I am virtually unaware of the difficulties that you really have to go through to keep your doods dry, I can just enjoy the photos.

Looks like Darwin had a blast!! Lilly loves the snow too, but I hate the cleanup.

Nancie, it's an artificial tree. Also, it's a small one so it's only 2 pieces... really easy to put up. :-) I'm kind of a Christmas fanatic. I wish Gracie could come play in the snow with Darwin, he would absolutely love that! There is a huge grassy area right outside our front door, which is where he played. Lots of fun!

Hey, I bet Darwin wishes he had that long hair back!!!! I love the snow boots!!! And...YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE IS ALREADY UP? Geez, all our tree lots don't even get stocked and open until this weekend! Even then...they are dead by Christmas. I sure wish I could have Gracie there experiencing what Darwin is. I would love to have snow for her to play in without having to drive in traffic because everyone is headed to the snow and then find a safe place to pull over and let her go!!! Can't wait to see the videos!

Wow! a foot & a half. Looks like it is a wet snow too. Probably why the trees snapped. Darwin looks like he had a blast in the snow.
