Chase's New Look!!
Ok, so we gave up on the cream from the vet (not nasty enough), the Bitter Apple (I think it stung), my husbands boxers....etc. He would not stop licking, so it was off the the vet for a collar. He does keep walking into things, so I do feel bad for him. I tried to take it off and he went right back to licking, so it went back on. Hopefully we will only need it for a couple of days and then he should leave things alone. While he is wearing the collar Hartley has been pretty good about not winding him up to play with him. But, each time I took it off the two of them started running around - not good!! So, I think the collar is serving two purposes.
It is going to be a long week, trying to keep them from playing too rough.

Aww, he looks so sad. The bitter apple probably does sting, though. Have you ever smelled it? Smells like rubbing alcohol. Yuk. Hope he's out of the collar soon!

Samantha is inviting Hartley over to her house for the week so Chase doesn't play too rough and pop a stitch. She has all her toys ready to share - even Moo - and she is willing to share MY sofa with him!
Could you just imagine what people would say if they saw the two of them together walking down the street?!?

That was the worst week of our lives when Yankee had that collar on. He was miserable but he kept trying to lick so we had no choice. Even after wearing it for a week, he kept trying so we put boxers on him.
Here are the pics......so sad looking. Hope Chase does better than Yankee did.
