Cooper is insured!

Ive always wanted to get insurance for Cooper, but have never been in a financial position to buy it. We still arent really, but recently we went down to 1 cell phone between us as im studying at home and dont need one. With the saved money I convinced DH to get insurance for Cooper. Shes so clumsy I can so see her breaking a leg after one too many skids on ice

I decided to go with the most expensive plan, as it was still very reasonable (she is down as a lab mix rather than poodle mix as its cheaper and theres no doodle option)

• $5,000 per incident on veterinary services
• $5,000 per illness, per year
• $350 for alternative therapy, behavioural therapy and medical devices per year, per category

Premium ^$ 36 44 monthly

Ive told Cooper that just because she HAS insurance it doesnt mean we HAVE to use it - she still needs to be careful. I dont think she listened, but it sure makes me feel better.

That is a relief for you. I like the piece of mind that comes with having insurance.  I too went with the most expensive plan I could get.

I can't imagine having Bella and NOT having insurance. I'd be much more anxious about all she eats if I didn't. I don't want her to have to go through any treatments or surgery for obstruction, but I really feel its just a matter of time with her, but even if I never use it, it's money we'll spent.

Oh so glad you got it. It really helps with peace of mind. I have the same plan for Winston. I'm putting in a huge claim this week from his seizure episodes so we'll see...
