I just had the privilege of hosting 7 seven-week-old pups for a week and then getting them all to their new families. The first 7 weeks they were with the momma dog's owner in her home and she did a fabulous job of socializing them. She lives in a neighborhood with many families and there was a parade of young kids that would come by and play with the pups every day. When I got them, they never nipped! Unbelievable.

They all went home this weekend and have wonderful new homes--the owners have reported that all is going well. I just can't believe how cute they all were--here is a sampling.

Lucy and Elvis will be kept in the breeder's program and are in guardian homes. See above and below.

I love my job, F! I am working with a breeder and do these puppy jobs for her intermittently--next litter I have may be a week in July like I did this time and then my own doodle Lyric will be due again to have her last litter (a guardian home arrangement with the breeder) So the good times keep on coming. I really love it and it is something i always wanted to do since childhood--I am living my dream!!
