Well, we have had a very busy couple of weeks! Lots of school and family stuff and work! Luckily this weekend things calmed down, Darwin was anxious to get out and play! Here is another huge batch of Darwin photos, I find him so hilarious and adorable when he gets the zoomies like this, it makes it hard to narrow down photos
I HOPE that winter is on it's way out and we won't get any more snow at this point, so I wanted to go let him play in it before it all melts for good. We have gone out quite a few times for long play sessions and he's been loving it. I think it's hard for him to decide whether to roll in it, pee on it, or eat it. Perhaps all three in combination is best.
Last week we took him to a nice park with a huge, open expanse of snow. We figured he'd run around, eat some snow and that would be that. Of course, we didn't expect him to run straight to the icy pond, jump in, roll around, then want to keep playing! It was only 30 degrees outside, the water was probably sooo cold. Silly dog.
This weekend we took him to our usual park and had him catch snowballs for a while. he loved it, and after catching the snowball he'd happily chomp it and gulp it down.
Here he is catching and chomping his snowball.
As you can see, the snow is melting! I hope that the next time I bombard you all with photos they will feature some lovely mud, or dead brown grass rather all this snow. :-)

Glad Darwin is enjoying the last of the snow! We have had nothing but rain and fog for days now and although we did get out a foot of slush is really not that much fun to play in. Your pictures are great and Darwin really does look like he is having a blast. There is a promise of some sun for us tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it.
Darwin is such a hoot. Vern did the same think at our lake....ran right in and laid down. It was freezing and we were not expecting that at all. I have the same collar for Vern and I love it. Thanks for sharing Darwin's snow day. We are supposed to get snow on Wednesday.
What fun! A Darwin romp! He obviously had a marvelous time, and I love looking at his photos. Especially love the ones with all four feet off the ground--flying, Darwin, flying!!!
What a happy romp in the snow! I enjoyed every photo. Thank you!
Pictures of Darwin are always a treat, and this was delicious, lol. He always looks like he is having sooo much fun!
We have tons of snow on the ground, we got clobbered last week, and we are supposed to get another 8 to 10 inches tomorrow. I am losing my mind, and JD hates it. It must be his AZ roots. I have never had a dog who refuses to run in the snow or even barely walk in it. As big as he is, I have to shovel out half the yard for him and even then he still hesitates to go out and do his business. Too bad Darwin can't come for a visit and teach him to enjoy it!
Nope, still in school, although spring break is on May 12th, yay!
Great pictures C. All our snow is gone but we may get some more this week : (
