Friends new DOODLE

Hi there, I am just letting everyone know that Neely has a new puppy friend! My friend who has Harley the GD that I look after sometimes has just brought home an eight week old Bernese Mountain dog poodle cross. An Absolute gorgeous little guy! This mix is supposed to allow the normally short life span of the Bernese to be lengthened by infusing the doodle gene. 

Since my son brought home his little Great dane puppy 10 weeks old for us during their reading week we have been enjoying puppy love. Now I get to visit the new Berniedoodle? (sp) and will have a continued puppy fix closer by.

I am looking after Harley in April for three weeks. Now my husband says that Cooper, the new puppy may as well come too. He should be well on the way to house trained and he is being crate trained. Why not? instead of taking him away from his brother Harley for that long.

My friend thinks I am nuts on DK so won't be joining us but does peek in on us from time to time. I told him that Harley is often posted on here so I am also violating Harley's privacy and will be posting pics of Cooper soon too!

Just thought I would share with you all that I am getting all the puppy love!!!

That's great!  It's perfect when you can be around the puppies enough to get your fix & then send them home (like babies that aren't yours).  That was part of my reasoning for considering to be a guardian family for a breeding dog - you'd always get to be around puppies, but NOT have to raise them!
