In 1993 I fell in LOVE with my first computer, IBM 8088XT. It was love at first touch.

In 1995 during my divorce I named my new Pack Bell Computer, Puter. He was my man.

My X-husband was so jeolous and this fueled the fire J After all, Puter could do everything for me except clean my house and cook my dinner so who needed this idiot husband?

Men name cars she, " She's runnin' like a beauty". For me, computers were male! Just how I percieved them I suppose.

Every computer since Puter was named Puter. Yes, you could call me a floosey, since I have had many many Puters since the first. Keep in mind though, I'm not that immoral. Puter introduced me to my Forever Husband, DH Roger :) who I will be married to for three years next month!

The current Puter, my favorite ( of course they all have been my favorite at the time ) began over heating several years after its’ arrival. Three fans were replaced but
it just got worse as time went on with warnings of “ CPU Temp Dangerously Out
of Range”. Puter could barely crawl through the pages and my time on DK was very limited. By last week I had to sign off within 3minutes.

WTD????? Puter was having Hot Flashes!

Puter is----------------------- A Female. Oh my. But still, she is my BFF.

Today Puta will be admitted to Computer General for a fileectomy and cardioversion.

I'm a Puta/Puter slut too :) My home Puter (this one is definitely a guy) has been having issues since I put the wireless router in. Poor guy.

So sorry to hear all this bad news. I will be better about backing things up, I will be better about backing things up. But all my calendars are on paper. I have a Daytimer for work and official personal appointments. Can't beat the old fashioned way, the only problem is losing it and you should have seen that search years ago. A nice lady retrieved the parts I lost, well most of them, and contacted me. But no crashes, dead batteries etc. Hope the recoveries are complete and quick. I just tried a young cousin's Ipad today. Very neat. Better than a smart phone but not as portable and can't make calls, though. Not quite a laptop. Definitely better than my Kindle, which I really don't use. I think I'll live with what I've got now.
