I was worried about the riots in Istanbul

I was worried about the riots in Istanbul because we are scheduled to visit there in a few weeks and that is an important part of my upcoming trip.  However, that has paled to insignificance.  My step-daughter's two year old grand-daughter passed out in daycare and blood tests show that her red blood cell count is so far down that it is off the charts.  Doctors don't know the cause.  Things like that bring me back to reality and help me realize what is really important!

That does put things in perspective. I hope that the cause and treatment for her anemia is soon found.
