My girls are a source of constant amusement. It was a very busy Saturday for our human kids. Today we had soccer and dance (2 soccer games and a dance class) so dinner was quick and simple - hot dogs and raw carrots. Violet and Veruca came barreling into the living room fighting over something. I assumed one of the kids must have dropped a hot dog - they were treating it like fillet. Low and behold.. it was a carrot. Veruca broke off a piece and while she worked on what she had, Violet would steal the carrot to break a piece off. They went back and forth like this.

Veruca LOVES apples. Loves them. When the kids have one Veruca follows them around hoping they will lose interest and hand the remainder off to her. Violet has already shown an interest in them too... and now the raw carrots. I thought the apple was unique to Veruca. I've never in my life had a dog that wanted anything to do with fresh fruits and vegetables. Cracks me up.

Baxter loves watermelon, apples, bananas, raw potatoes, carrots but does not like lettuce. I have not tried anything else. He will probably eat ANYTHING!

Callie loves apples, carrots, green beans, zucchini, and sweet potatoes. She has also been known to eat broccoli, but I prefer for her to NOT have that level of gas!

Yesterday they tried pineapple and went crazy over it. They also love peaches and if they hear a watermelon being cut, they start whining....

One of Tori's favorites is cantaloupe. I cut up some pieces and freeze them as treats. She LOVES them! I like to freeze them because she'll swallow the whole piece without chewing... being frozen, forces her to chew. I also do this w/ canned pumpkin. she also loves watermelon too. Haven't froze that tho'. We used to give her cooked carrots and sweet potatoes, but she scoffs it down too quickly and it usually winds up coming right back up - whole..... I have to try apples

Yes.... so far I have learned that Shelby likes.... Bananas, apples, carrots and hummus!

Yep. Darwin loves basically any kinds of fruit. We cut small pieces for him. He LOVES watermelon too! Carrots not so much.

Quincy likes strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, apples, oranges, green beans and cooked carrots and dried cranberries, he will not eat bananas. If you hold the apple for him he will take little nibbles.

We grow raspberries in our garden and Tara picks the raspberries off the vine and eats them. She also likes watermelon, blueberries and green beans (especially if they are frozen).

Harlow loves raw carrots, apples only if they are cooked.

Jackdoodle won't eat any fruit or vegetable, cooked or raw, except for lima beans!!!!! Go figure that one out.
But my poodles ate everything...fruit, vegetables, you name it. I had one who liked Brussels sprouts!
I hear that lots of doodles love fruit, especially melon.
