Well, it was a bumpy road at the end, this little boy was sideways (not head down, or even a butt down) until 39 weeks and 5 days. FINALLY he turned and I was induced before he turned back sideways. The trainer I use sells "Piddle Bells" she makes and only charges $10 a set - including shipping and handling, an instruction sheet on how to use and her card for "training support" if you have questions. For other non-crafty people like myself it's a nice option for a bell set that isn't $20. My girls are a source of constant amusement. It was a very busy Saturday for our human kids. Today we had soccer and dance (2 soccer games and a dance class) so dinner was quick and simple - hot dogs and raw carrots. They say we do everything "big" in Texas... apparently rain as well. The water in my backyard is several inches deep. It's a couple inches even on my patio. Let me tell you - tons of fun trying to potty train a young puppy in this. Violet is a trouper. She checked it for a few minutes and then braved the lake that is our backyard to find a spot she could call her own. She came in looking like a drowned rat, but I was so proud of her.

My parents got this lady from the DRC. Her previous owner shaved her down - completely... even her whiskers are cut short, and the vet says she has a little bit too much meat on her bones... She's a Labradoodle and did get more of that thick Lab body, though her face is narrow. She's very strong, very solid. She's a big girl, I think she was listed as 42lbs, her actual weight is 68lbs. My parents are now proud Doodle parents. I had mentioned that my parents had been won over by my Doodles in my previous blog. This summer, before we got our second Goldendoodle, we took a family vacation to Branson MO. We rented a condo. My parents liked the sound of the place so much they decided to get a condo as well.
