Impromptu doodle romp!

I love taking my doodles to our neighborhood dog park. I live within a 20 minute walking distance of the park and the doodles know when we are headed in that direction. Which is most days that I walk them. It's rare that there are only a few dogs there for them to play with and in the past year or so, if you hang around a little bit another doodle usually shows up. Well today there were 2 already there when I got there and in about 5 minutes a third showed up. Now we have 5 doodles, so I think that is officially a Doodle Romp. But wait, 2 more come prancing in and now we have 7 doodles.
We were only there for 20 minutes and in that time the doodle population went from 2 to 7.
I was thinking more and more people are aware of doodles now, but Bella was actually the youngest and the oldest was seven years old. So they have all been around for a few years. It was really fun to watch them play together and it made me miss my time of organizing the monthly Az. Doodle Romps. When life settles back down ( huh? ) maybe I can resume them in the fall. Just wanted to share our romp experience today.

Stanlee will not even lift his head on the ride home though. They play soooo hard when there is a group of them. Have fun!!!

I'm attending my first Doodle Romp this weekend, so excited!  Actually driving 2½ hours to meet frineds as this is the closest to my home a romp has been scheduled.  Stan isn't a very good car rider but I think he'll enjoy the end result!

No pictures, I'm just not a big picture taker. But picture 4 cream, 2 Apricot and 1 black big, fluffy, goofy, excited, tail spinning doodles all playing together and you'd have recreated the image. My daughter and I can have a romp anytime with our 4, but they love meeting new friends. It was very fun.
