I'm so glad Traveler is finally getting some coat back after he was shaved a couple of months ago!  Maybe his face was trimmed into a 'poodle cut,' but he just looked naked and miserable to me.

This ties into another topic. I find it interesting that Neely prefers pillows when he is laying around. Looks like yours does too!  He only uses his dog bed for playing with toys and eating treats on. He sleeps on the floor alot as we think he gets too hot on the other surfaces. If it is hotter he will go from the wood floors into the bathroom on the tile floors. But the rest of the time he is on the couches with his head on the arm rest like it is a pillow or on our bed where he actually uses a pillow like a person too. We think its cute.

Oh, Roscoe is gorgeous in this shot!  I prefer the shaggy look too, even for Roscoe, but Mr. Bobblehead looks like golden velvet here.  I don't know what color to say Trav is now.  He started out chocolate, but now is more taupe.  How goofy would that sound--a taupe dog!!  His mom is lavender with an icy, silver frosting to her coat, and his dad is red.

Traveler looks quite comfy but I don't know why groomer feel the need to make our doodles look like poodles. The last time I had Quincy groomed, the groomer was the owner of a poodle, I kept telling her I didn't want him to look like a poodle, no offence to poodles. If we had wanted them to look like poodles that's what we would have gotten. Traveler is such a beautiful color and is adorable no matter what the cut. I personally like the more shaggy doodle look even though it takes a lot of effort to keep up with the brushing. One of my favorite pics of all times is one of Adina's Roscoe after they shaved his body and left his head untouched. I think Adina called him a bobblehead at the time, but he looked so funny and cute.
