Long lost BLOGGER! Yikes!

Wow! I feel so badly that I have not written on here for so long. It isn't that nothing has happened... I guess things have just been busy lately. School started up again, I'm teaching cheerleading part time again for the summer (as well and working my full time job), doing things to prepare for the wedding, and working on the house. There just seems like there never is enough time for all the things that I want to do! UHHGGG! The fact of the matter is, I can't even remember the last time that Dan and I sat down and had some quality time together. Isn't that sad!

The funny thing is that no matter how busy I am or how many things I need to do... Dan and I always make time for Remington. Time that should probably be spent cleaning up around the house, working on homework, weeding the garden, planning for the wedding, or even cuddling up on the couch.... is instead passed up for time with Remington, going on walks, playing fetch, going to the canal, working on training, and cuddling up on the couch with our furry friend. Some people may think this is crazy... but I am so thankful for it. I think that Remington helps me to take time out of my busy schedule and focus on the important things in life. He helps me to not pass up a beautiful day that I may have otherwise spent inside doing homework and instead makes me go on that mile walk with him. He makes me stop to watch the birds fly by and helps me to notice the beautiful flowers that are in bloom as he takes a bite off one of them :) He is that thing in my life that is more important than "ALMOST" anything!

I guess in a way he helps me to remember to LIVE!!!!

Isnt great how Remington has put such focus and purpose in your days. KInd of like Marley and Me. Did you watch it? I am sure Rem is much better behaved though. lol

I hear that all that stuff ( weeding the garden, cleaning house, etc) is highly over rated! I'd much rather play with my Doods and let them snuggle with me on the couch. And you are right about them making you notice things that otherwise would just slip by you. Just yesterday, while walking, I noticed 5 rabbits that I probably otherwise would never have even seen if it weren't for Maddie & Morgan stopping to stare at them. So...keep up the good work!!!

Amen! Yankee does exactly the same thing for me. The house can be cleaned later and so on and so on.
