My First Bike Week

My 1st Laconia Bike Week is awesome so far!!! I love all the bikes, bikers, music and smells!!
Mom thought I might be a little overwhelmed with all the goings on but I'm totally loving it.
Everyone wants to stop and say hi to me and pat me and be my friend. Mom says she's going to
get a shirt for me that says "My name is Banjo. I am a Goldendoodle. That's a cross between
a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. I am almost 6 months old. I will be about 40lbs. If you
want further information please refer to the human at the other end of my leash."
What's really great is Mom and Dad aren't riding their motorcycles too much at all cuz' they
don't want to leave me out of all the fun, so I get to go everywhere with them. I wish Dad would get me
one of those side-cars but he says it isn't safe. I know I'd love to ride along with them!
Oh well, I guess they love me lots and wouldn't want to see anything bad happen to me.
I can't wait to see what's in store for me today!!!

Banjo, I'm glad you had fun, and it sounds like an exciting time! I should get one of those shirts too, people are always asking my mom those questions!

I didn't know what type of bikes you were referring to. Our pawrents are mountain bike and road bike riders but haven't been on a motorcycle in a while. Hondo loves to run behind a mountain bike, but Groucho Too gets distracted easily by anything that runs. He is in the woods too much of the time (getting ticks and poison oak). Our pawrents had a miniature poodle who rode a motorcycle. He had a box with a tannau cover and goggles. One time he crawled up out of the box onto our Mom's shoulders while they were driving down the autobahn at 90 miles a hour. He was one dog who loved adventure and loved to see where he was going.

Oh boy, are my dogs tired!!! We walked all over the Weirs today, weaving in and out of thousands of pairs of legs...short ones, skinny ones, long ones, fat ones and attached to so many friendly people too! I can't believe so many people want to say hi to me and pat me. I can't count the number of folks I kissed today...(is that a bad thing??) I had a great day today but now I need to catch up on my nap time. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Have a good time and get lots of petting. I am a little shy around crowds but my brother Clancy loves it. I think I just need to make sure that people don't step on me cause I am a smaller guy.

Banjo, it sounds like you're having a great time....you lucky Doodle! My Mom and Dad are kinda boring...no motorcycle riding for them. People never seem to know that Murph and I are Doodles either...they think I'm a Poodle and Murphy is a Sheepdog. Maybe my Mom could get us one of those shirts too....oh wait a minute, I forgot that I really don't like clothes. Maybe Mom could wear the shirt...that would be funny. Banjo... sounds like so much fun! You mom is funny.... I bet my mom would love to get me a shirt like that.... and who knows after tomorrow I might need a t-shirt. I am getting my summer cut... I don't know what that means exactly, but mom says I will be cooler. It is hot here in TX - over 90 degrees everyday and HUMID - did I mention, it's not even summer yet!
