Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
So some of you might remember I mentioned last year that i met a guy at the dog park (he has 2 german shorthaired pointers) and I thought that he might be THE ONE! Well not only did it not work out the way I wanted but I recently discovered a lot about what's happened in the last year that I didn't know before. Let's just say he met someone else within days of me and the "other girl" seems to have won. (although i guess he thought he could try us out at the same time. She can have him since I don't accept cheaters. But the kicker is that she is SO eerily similar to me....
1. Her name Stacy....mine...Sally
2. She has a dog.....so do i
3. she is a graphic designer....so am i
4. she runs marathons....so do i
5. she has a love of cake and writes a blog called for runningforcake. I have a love for cake and my best friend's blog (and our relay running team name) is runningonbutter
OK so with all that said I've been crying my eyes out (not to mention my mom fell and broke her nose on the bus and my best friend had surgery that was 6 1/2 hours long and there's a chance what they removed could be malignant).
All I can say is t.g.f.m.d. THANK GOD FOR MY DOODLE!!!!!! Duncan is absolutely the most amazing dog and I don't know how i'd get through my day without him. He licks my tears before they make it past my cheek and cuddles with me tighter and tighter each day. He goes with the flow. If I spend all day with him he'll take it! If i'm occupied he'll just nap by my feet....
I know we all love our doodles and that is why this site is so amazing! It's really great to know we all have this secret about what it's like to love a doodle.....
And we STILL go to the dog park.=)

Sally, count your blessings that you found out about his standards now. Duncan loves you and I'm sure your special guy is out there looking just for you!!!!
I would have to agree...you are with WINNER. She didn't win..you did. Just think what she got...the loser of a guy. Duncan won't let you down...ever!
Ouch...hope the outcome for your friend is positive and your mom doesn't have "raccoon" eyes for long!
