Duncan loves the stairs. Usually to take a nap. But the other day i saw him like this:

How did I miss this discussion earlier?  Ned does this.  I must have deleted all the pictures I have of him doing it because our carpet and Ned are the same color to he doesn't photograph well.  Here he is in his favorite bottom stair spot last year waiting for Santa.

I had to laugh. My son sent me this picture today of his seven month old Weimaraner.

One of my LDs does this all the time!!  We have a spiral staircase into the kitchen and he loves to sit halfway down the stairs and watch us cook - but on one step and front lets on the one below!

So cute.  We have a ranch.  But when I TELL Sheila to sit to get a treat, she is 1/2 standing before I can give it to her.  I have to give her the old hairy eye ball to get that cute behind sitting all the way.

Murphy certainly does this. I don't have a picture on the stairs but here is one with the boys.

Looks like he is the only one that heard " No feet on the furniture" rule.

This is my parent's dog (English Mastiff). His name is Big Ben (after Steeler's #7, yes). He LOVES sitting like this. He's not allowed on the couches any more, but he thinks if the has 3 feet on the floor it doesnt count.
