Well... paws all crossed... I have been working - SOME with Tori on strangers... today is the 'big party day' - hoping Tori doesn't freak out too badly.... I'm trying to keep calm so she doesn't sense my tenseness... I'll be back for an update!

UPDATE! UPDATE! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!!

Wow... I am SOOO proud of 'our' Tori-girl!  I set up her crate upstairs in a bedroom and was ready to put her in it if she didn't listen.   She did amazing!!!! I was a bit worried as people came and she frantically barked at the window, but.... I decided to let her out - OFF leash - NEVER EVER did that before.. she stayed on the patio with everyone and really just walked along... there were only a few (3) people that she actually barked at... still can't figure out why... there is no rhyme or reason for it (in my mind anyway)... two were BIG guys and one was a tiny girl with blonde hair....when she barked I stood in between tori and the person said NO! and leashed her... she settled down and walked away... but all in all I couldn't believe it.  Basically she followed ME in and out.  when she went to go down to her play area where some kids were playing volleyball and I said no, come or stay, she DID!  I couldn't believe it!  I was like who are you doodle, and what have you done with my puppy-girl!  Don't get me wrong, we still have a WAY to go, but I am  still in total shock!  THANK You ALL for sending positive thoughts cross the country (and world) (and across the highway, Ali- lol) our way.

Yup, crate is a great solution if things get wild.  Trav has hardly ever been in his crate, it serves as a toy box and clutter collector most of the time, but I wouldn't hesitate for a second putting him in it if he was getting out of hand or stressed.
