This morning we woke up to our first snow fall of the season... a whole inch of snow! However, I had been looking forward to this moment for the past 2 months... not because I like snow, but because it was going to be my Remington Bear's first snow :) We were up at 6:00 am this morning like usual and I fed Remi his breakfast and then it was off to potty outside!! Usually he runs out the door happy to have a million new smells to smell... but not this morning! He carefully went outside and stood on a tiny cement slab we have outside our door. He look up at me terrified... as if saying... "Mom, what is this stuff?" So outside I go with him to show his it's not going to hurt him. Soon he was walking all around taking it all in... sniff, sniff, sniffing! Once he was back inside I had to laugh at him because his little nose and face was covered in snow! SO CUTE! He began freaking out because all the snow that was once on his paws was now all over the floor and he just couldn't figure out why that white stuff was following him inside! He then became concerned that this mess he had made was going to upset me so he proceeded to lick up all the snow that was on the floor! He is just so considerate!

Anyways, it was a sight to see... so I just had to share my morning with you all! Can't wait until we get 6 or more inches to see how he reacts :)

That's cute. Maggie LOVES the snow. We got her in the winter so she saw it when she was a little baby. She loves to plow through and bury her head in the deep drifts. It's so funny to watch her...and she loves to chase snowballs...and sadly tackle snowmen too. Well, actually, I can't build them, she tackles the first ball I make and I can never get one built. We went hiking last sumer and found snow at a high elevation and she was SO excited. She is happy that the snow is back at home though now.

Too cute. We got 12 inches of snow over night last night, Holly had seen snow before but not like this! Plus we have blizzard like winds blowing. I took her out and she ran in circles and whined for a while, and then began to chase the blowing snow. It took almost 15 min for her to go potty! Dogs are so funny :).

Soooo jealous of you! My doodles don't know what the word snow means and chances are may not know any time soon. We haven't had a real snow in my area of SC in about 5 or so years. I taught little kids who are in school that don't know what snow is really like. So sad and so jealous of y'all. Glad he had fun!

So jealous! Can't wait to get our first snow (although it won't be a lot since we live in Atlanta!). Timbow has been through one snow, but he was only three months old. He still really enjoyed it though. He ran around putting his nose in it, had zoomies, and could've stayed out there forever that day. You'll have to keep us updated on how Remi reacts when you get a lot of snow! :-)

I can't wait for our first real snow. This will be Guinness's first Winter too. We had a little powdery dusting a couple of days ago, but it was hardly noticeable. I'm looking forward to the "real" stuff so we can make snowballs...more fun than chasing the tennis tall.
