Riley is one year old today

I can't believe that Riley has reached his first birthday.  I decided to work from home today and we went for a lovely walk stopping by at the Butchers shop on the way home.  A large marrow bone was a gift from the 'nice man' and Riley got his first frisbee at the pet store.  He has enriched our lives so much. I remember this time last year being so excited and anxious as I prepared to make that journey by land and sea to Scotland to meet him and bring him home.  Each day seemed like a year only made easier by my constant fix of DK.   DK made the whole process so much easier and by the time I chose my breeder and collected him I was more informed about puppies and managed to avoid so many pitfalls thanks to the wonderful friends and groups here.  The knowledge was invaluable and I have you all to thank for that.  

Riley is not perfect, he chews the odd sock (he's given up on Toilet Paper lol) gets the zoomies every evening around 8pm and needs a very thorough brush through every day as he is going through the coat change.  He is though, the most gentle and happy dog who loves everyone who meets him, from tiny babies to the elderly.  He doesn't judge, just constantly wiggles and wags that tail all day.  We love him very much and can't imagine our lives without him.

@Nicki, when you say "gets the zoomies every evening", do you mean sudden spurt of energy and he sprints around the house for 5-10mins? That's what Chewie has too. Only he gets it at 10pm.
