I was so scared to take Riley to get him groomed, but I had to. The poor baby had no eyes. At least none that I had seen in weeks. So I got up my nerve to call some groomers today, and I was lucky enough to find one that said that she did LOTS of doodles and would not make him look like a poodle. So off he went.

I dropped him off and went to the grocery store and then came back to get him. He looked so grown up....AHHH, they get big so fast :( Anyways I couldn't be happier with what she did with him. She was so GREAT with him and raved about how smart he was and how good he was when he was there. She even sent him home with a little stuffed ball that she had been playing fetch with him with when I got there.

So I thought I would share how he looks now. (Don't worry he does still have his right ear, it is just turned backwards. It took me forever to get this picture. He kept barking at me and running towards the camera)

She did a great job with Riley, Yvonne. Finding the right groomer makes all the difference. Once we found ours (and we had to go through a few to find her!), Penny fell in love with getting groomed. We now call it her "spa day." LOL Anyway, Riley looks just great and I lOVE seeing his eyes!

Oh, he look sooo handsome!!! I have been thinking about grooming for the same reason, but never built up the guts to take her... Charlie has no eyes either !! They are buried under the curls!! But now, looking at Reily, and how handsome he looks, I may try building some guts and take her........
