Wow, these bells work better than I thought….

So….. we have a little string of bells (as many of you do) hanging on the back door that the girls use to let us know when they need/want to go out. Apparently, I didn’t respond as quickly as little Miss Penny thought I should…The ringing was fierce and seemed much louder than usual from the other room as well. “Hmm” I said to myself, “She must really need to go”. ‘Round the corner I came to fall upon the CUTEST sight I’ve ever seen…. There, standing on the gate, bell in hand as it were, was my little Miss Penny, quite proud of herself too I might add. Doodles are SO smart.

That is what happens when you ignore them.  We have a ranch with a finished walk-out basement.  We have bells on the slider downstairs and on the front door.  Love them!  When Rua rings, she goes out.  But if she doesn't potty/poo right away, she comes back in.  I hate when she goes out, comes in and then rings the bells again like there is no tomorrow!
