Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Roo here, reporting from my new location. Mom and Tigger and I have been busy. Dad too. We moved to a new place. At first I thought we were just visiting for a long time. Dad is always teasing Mom about how much she packs for trips. Also she kept Tigger and I on a leash a lot which means visiting.
But Tigger and I have decided that this is home. There are stairs to go to bed in this house, Tigger already fell down them once! DID NOT - I was just going very very fast. Ha! You know Mom makes us wait until she gets up or down and then GO SLOW. You fell. DID NOT. DID TOO. NOT.
Anyway this is a great yard. We see deer in our backyard every afternoon just before we eat and in the morning in the front yard and sometimes on our walk. In the morning Tigger barks and wakes Mom and Dad, he's not supposed to do that. It's important that they know, when we saw that deer up close last night she didn't look like she wanted to play at all. At first she was all running and jumping and I thought we were going to play, but then she stopped and stared right at us and didn't bow. That's rude and scarry. She was big. Mom told us she was protecting her babies.....? Your barking probably annoyed her, it certainly annoyed Mom and me too. Next time keep your yap shut like Mom has taught us on walks. Deer are just like us they don't like being stared right at, just be all nonchalant like. Yeah, like you are "nonchalant", whatever that means.
Anyway it is pretty fun here and we are still close to our friends. This leash thing everywhere is getting old though. just because we managed to explore a little this morning, we are back on our leashes everywhere. I came when Mom called, almost right away. Tigger, you are always late coming when Mom calls, so now it leashes again.
Oh you are such a baby. I was the one that figured out how to get to Mom and avoid that nasty hissy thing this morning. You just stood there beside that man you didn't even know very well, you were so afraid of the hissy thing. That hissy thing is a rattlesnake, you dodo brain. Dodo brain!! - I went to mom when she called and got the cookie and didn't get hurt, you were too scared. (Mom's note - took them to rattlesnake training this morning, they did well and so did I - the rattlesnakes were real, but muzzled, how would you like that job!) I got a cookie, too and didn't have to risk going by that snake without Eric.
We should probably ask to go out again, the sun is coming right in this window and that's when the deer come to our backyard.

Good news. I hope we can all be at the next get together cuz my mom got a new camera.
Great blog, Roo! Sounds like you have a fun new home, except for the hissy thing. And the leashes. And the stairs. LOL
Ned and Clancy - we can still come to the doodle get togethers - Mom says we are still the same distance away Yeah!
Wow, lots of new adventures for your two! We wish that we could get close to the deer, but not the hissy things - they sound very scary. We are sorry about the leash things. We are camping and have to be on our leashes every time we go out of the RV and we do not like it one bit.
Your buddies, Ned and Clancy
PS will you be too far away to come to the doodle get togethers? We hope not.
Adorable blog MaryAnn and congratulations on your the new location and move! Roo and Tigger have fun in your new home and watch out for the "snakes":(
Oh Roo, it was so good to hear from you. I'm happy that everything went well and that you're getting settled in your new home. Thanks for the update!
Except for the rattlesnakes, that you apparently need to be on the look out for when you are walking, everything sounds great in your new house !
Roo, I think that getting trained to not approach them is a very good idea. Who knew they even had that kind of training with muzzled snakes and all !?
Now, Tigger my friend, it is probably best not to get all "bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
fun, fun, fun, fun, fun", down those stairs. Please be careful on them, and stay on your feet !

Wow what an adventure...Congratulations on your new home...very exciting!
Sounds like great adventures await all of you! Congrats on your new home!
Wow....this is very exciting...a move, deer, and rattlesnakes. Yikes. I liked everything right until the snakes. Stay away from anything hissing. Good luck with your new home and I hope Roo and Tigger are not too busy to keep blogging.
