Serious Doodle Withdrawal

Just needed to share. This is my first 2 nights of many 1-2 nights that I have to be away from my doodles due to work and I am just so bummed because I miss them both so much. I have always missed Murphy when I've been gone, but now that I have double doodle love waiting at home it's doubly sad for me. Boo hoo. Anyone else just feel that silly ache when away from your doods or have I gone over the edge?

I miss mine so much during the day, that I have to look at pictures!!! I think thats over the edge. ha!!! I just can't understand why we all can't take our dogs to work with us! You're not silly.... just a great dood person!

Lots of tail wagging went on last night, and now that I am home I must have caught a serious case of doodle-sickness because I have been sick in bed all day, But the up side is my Murphy has been right here with me the whole time. He is such a love. I know he would much rather be playing ball or running outside, but he only leaves for short periods and comes right back to me.  Gotta love these doodles. So nice to be home.

When we travel, I get so homesick for my dogs.  It has always irritated and hurt my husband's feelings a little.  Here I am on a big adventure with him and I am homesick for my dogs!  Silly? Goofy?  But very real.

I am sorry you have to be away from your doods.  I guess the only upside is that you doubly appreciate them when you get home.

AHHHH! Home and in bed with my doodles cuddling next to me! Life is Good once again. Thank you all for your understanding. Glad to know we are all in the same boat when it comes to missing these guys. I would love to never have to have a night away from them ever again, but that is just not an option with this job.

Oh, I so know what you are going through. I have changed roles several months ago and my new roles involves also regular travel. In 99 % of the cases it is also only 1 night but still......

Benny sleeps in bed with us at home and I really have problems to fall asleep alone my hotel room without Benny next to me.

In November I had to go on a business trip for a week. I was never separated from my boys for such a long time before and when I returned and looked at them I somehow had the feeling that they changed within that week and looked different. Silly of course and after an hour back at home they looked like always but I prefer not be away from them that long anymore.

Five years yesterday since the big guy came into my life, and JD and I have never spent a night apart. If I can help it, we never will. I'm sure i would have that same ache, Sue. I don't think you've gone over the edge at all.

Yes, I need her kisses every day!  It is so nice having the dogs around.....they keep me sane!
