Stuart Ran his 1st 8k race!

Today Stuart ran his first 8k race, 4.97 miles.  Stuart has been running with his dad because he is like the energizer bunny - we can't wear him out.  Out of 150 runners he was the only dog!  Of course everyone thought he was totally awesome and he got lots of cheering and attention.  He even went to the after run breakfast and has some eggs, bacon and sausage.

Here is Stuart and his dad, hot on the trail of the lady with the big hooters smile.

Stuart saw momma taking his picture and went "off course" to come say hello.

Re-hydrating!

Stuart didn't have his own race number but he was rockin the Halloween bandana and leash.

I'm so glad Stuart was the only dog in the race. He definitely deserves center stage! Love the photos. Congrats you your DH and to Stuart.

Hooray for Stuart and DH! Stuart is beautiful and he looks to be totally enjoying the run. Great hooters pictures. I used to do a little running but I had to stop because I have old knees but I did enjoy it at the time.

 Nine minute miles is fantastic.  Truly something to be proud of as a human ( good work DH) let alone a dog!

Great for Dad and Stuart! Runing is such a dad and son bonding experience. Lol
I wish I could take one of mine to a race! Maybe I will just sneak Bella into my next 5 K and see what they say. She would have a ball.
