Well, our Maltese Rescue website is finished...

I really don't like the quality of the imagery but, it's just not worth arguing with my wife about.

We cleaned up the images somewhat... They should be better in the future...

Speaking as a professional graphic AND web designer I looked at your site to see if I could offer some advice with your photo images. I don't know why you're not happy with the image quality, they are waaaay better then most.

I really like your site. It is user friendly. I especially like the dog bone tabs across the top. I know that you aren't happy with the quality of the photos, but honestly they looked very good to me. Go look on some other rescue websites and you will see some pretty poor pictures.

I like the overall look of your site. What a wonderful thing you and your wife are doing for the Maltis.

The website is great. The pictures are so sharp and beautifully composed, you stuck to your guns I see. Congratulations!

The little girl and boy on the site have been spoken for... We want to wait for the other pups to grow a bit older before we put them up for adoption. It is a lot of work around the house but, we are pretty well organized. Three older puppies are in a puppy pen in the family room. One mom and her four pups are in a pen in the hobby room and two moms and their two four puppy litters are in the bedroom. Two of the older moms who have weaned their pups are ranging free - they sleep on their own bed in our bedroom. While our house dogs sleep in our bed.

We are fortunate in having a large house with various areas which can be cordoned off. Our entire house has tile floors. An advantage of living in Southern California is that the climate is conducive to living with tile floors. We use a Hoover Floormate Floor Cleaner which does a great job. We would be hard pressed to have this number of dogs without the Floormate.

We have plenty of hardware such as bowls for the dogs and have a plethora of towels and rags. Except that these little dogs occupy much of our waking hours, it isn't much of a problem.

When a dog makes a major breakthrough like Belle did last night it makes it all worthwhile. Belle allowed my wife to pick her up and then went to sleep in Judy's lap. This, undoubtedly was the first time this little dog ever had the confidence to sleep in a humans arms.None of the females we got from the Oregon puppy mill has experienced human love and affection. They were kept in cramped little cages and bred, and bred.

Just helping these poor dogs gain some confidence and trust is a great feeling and makes everything worthwhile.

Oh Richard, I gotta stay off of that site ..... that precious little girl is just calling me!

Great job! I cannot even imagine how much fun your house must be right now (and how much work).
