Rooney here . . . . . . I turned 5 months old yesterday and it has been 2.5 months since my abduction from "Breeder".  "Smelly" - the lady that stole me is now my Momma - and I love her.  I realize now that Breeder has other puppies to take care of and that my Mom and Dad took me home because they really needed a doodle baby to love.  Every single day we have new adventures together.  I am deep into the process of training my Mom and Dad - they were totally clueless.  I am on it I assure you.  First off - I taught my Mom that when Dad is out of town - I can't really provide her the total Doodle Protection Plan from my crate.  To really provide the best coverage - I need to sleep on her bed.  That way when those intruders come barging through the doors - I'm right there to bark and bite (but first I have to get some teeth - they keep falling out  - WTD, I spit two out the other night, one last night and one this morning - I need dentures).  I have been taking my Mom to Advanced Puppy Obedience Class and I was the youngest puppy to ever graduate - my Mom was very proud.  That happy feeling came in handy yesterday when it was raining, and raining and raining.  I have taught my Mom that wet = BAD.  I have let her know that I do not like my bath, or my feet being wet or stepping on anything wet.  So while Mom was still feeling like I was really smart for my Obedience training - I taught her that I don't want to poop outside if I have to get wet.  I pooped on her floor.  Nuff said.  Here in FL we are having a big as in PIG  problem.  Our beautiful golf development has been invaded by wild pigs.  Some of my friends from the puppy park have actually seen them buggers out on their walks through the marsh.  HIGH ALERT!  My doodle hackles are up and I will sacrifice myself to protect my Momma from those evil hogs!!!!  If I go down in the line of doodle duty - my last words are to my puppy love - Rua!

Me on Pig Patrol in the marsh!

Halas here. I don't like to poop when it's wet outside, either.  Well, I don't like to poop in my yard if my yard is wet, but if I get to go for a walk, I'll poop anywhere, even if it's wet.  It's a good way to get my mom to take me for a walk, even when she thinks it's too yucky out.  Sometimes I have to drag my butt across the carpet, just to let her know how much I really want to go on that walk.

Knox is the "Head of Security" around here and does a great job of keeping us safe from big, bad SQUIRRELS! Those annoying things won't dare step foot on our property when Knox is 'on duty!' Ok...they do sometimes but Knox is RIGHT on them...well, maybe not right on them, but close....well, maybe not close but in the same general area...let's just say, he tries...and our household is safer because of him!

Rooney baby! You are so adorable!! I wish you lived closer so Ollie and you could be buds. And look at you with losing all those baby teeth. You're well on your way to becoming a big boy!

Hey Rooney...your pal Sasha here...

I wish I could get down there to help out with the "Pig Patrol" my friend!

We're stuck up here in N.J. and there's a storm going on...with snow and freezing rain!!

NOT the kind of weather I like...AT ALL!!

I'm so disappointed too...because I could really help you out with those "Pesky Pigs"!

I don't know if I told you...but...I got rid of a family of foxes that were trying to take over our property in South Carolina last year!!

Yup!!  I scared them right off of my turf...and we haven't seen hide nor hare of them in a long while!!

I'll tell you a little secret...If the truth be known ..It wasn't until I got to be "bigger than they were"...before they were afraid of me!! (smile)

So...you have to be a little bit careful my friend...and make sure you stay close to your Mom...okay??

It sure does sound like you're teaching your Mom and Dad how to be Really Great Doodle Parents!!

Great Job Rooney...I'm Proud Of You!!

Wow...you even found a way to get yourself out of your crate and into that Nice...Warm...Cozy Bed!!

Way to Go Roo!!

Your Mom sure does sound like the Best...that is...next to mine of course...(smile)

Be sure to take extra good care of her...especially when your Dad is away!

In the meantime...let me know if I can help you out in any way...that's what friends are for!!

Your Friend Sasha...
