Worst Condition We Ever Saw

Bruno, a year-old male Maltese was scheduled to be euthanized by the San Bernardino, California Shelter.  No one wanted to adopt poor Bruno.  Guess why?

In all our years of rescue work and the hundreds of dogs that have come through our house, we have never seen any dog so filthy, matted and full of ticks and fleas as poor Bruno.  It took Judy two and a half hours and she virtually had to shave him down to the skin.

His coat was so matted that it came off in one piece.  It is now double bagged in our trash can.

Bruno has an appointment with our vet first thing tomorrow...

Poor baby, he must have been in so much discomfort and that ear looks really painful. Now that's he's found his way to you his future is looking very bright. I will never understand how anyone could do this to such a helpless little creature. I really will never understand how people can be so cruel. Thankfully there are people like you and Judy to help balance the scales a little. Bless you.
