- About Me:
- I'm a Labradoodle breeder located near Atlanta, Georgia. I have a small program, having only 1-2 litters per calendar year. Our dogs all live inside the home, and our puppies are raised inside with the help of my 5 children ages 7-20.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Our Doodles are Sunny, Willow, Hawthorn, Olie, Lani, Piper and Bear. All of our breeding dogs live in Guardian homes except Willow who is with us full-time.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I grew up around Labs and Goldens and my husband grew up with Standard Poodles, so when our middle daughter was diagnosed with asthma, we were naturally drawn to the breed. We decided as a family to start breeding them, and the rest is history.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- I like to lie on the couch and cuddle with them while I read...not something my schedule allows very often, but when it does, I love those quiet moments. The strangest thing I've seen our doodles do is get on the trampoline and jump with the kids.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Fran at "Fran and Friends" and myself. My oldest daughter is learning to groom now too, and she LOVES it!

Lola is doing well. She finally kicked the UTI not too long after we last corresponded. We had her spayed in March so that's another task to check off the list. I really do need to send you some updated photos. I just never seem to have time to get them off the camera. We had her groomed pretty tightly about a week ago because she was so hot with her fleecy coat. It looks like crushed velvet!
Lola's biggest temptation is digging. I don't know if this runs in the family or not but if you have any suggestions for detering this I am open to it. I am afraid that we won't have any grass at some point!
We're still planning to have you board her June 13 - June 15 (pick up around noon) if this still works for you. Please confirm.
