I've debated about putting this out there but we have our own thoughts about why this happens.
This picture contains the ( remains ) urn's of Bella, my husbands dog of 18 years and Pete, my dog of 14 years. They are placed together on the bookcase shelf in the living room.
Spud will just sit and bark at them. " Bark Bark Bark Bark Bark" What are your thoughts?
okay. have to stop following this for now.. It's almost bedtime on the east coast and I'm getting a little spooked out. I can't wait to hear all about your experiments! Good luck and good- night!
We don't have animal planet. About once every 18 months we get the channel for a month for free. It happens we have it this month but I have not had time to watch that show. I spend to much time on the computer :)
perhaps try and transfer the ashes to different urns and see what happens... ??? Or move the urns and see if your dog still barks at them. Your own energy may impact his reaction too, maybe he picks up on sadness ?
I think I'll take our cats ashes and put them in an area Neely is in regularily and see what happens. He never knew the cat. He isn't particularily fond of cats..ok hes afraid of them. He may not want to even acknowledge one dead or alive in his house. But maybe the cat will tell him she isn't very fond of having HIM in HER house.
I belive they know more then we think they know. Years ago we had a St. Bernard and a goose who hung out together (We live on a farm) anyhow, we had to get the St.put down and since we have a farm we buried him behind our barn under a tree. Well, that goose sat on the grave for 4 days. It was so sad. I do think animals have some kind of connection with each other dead or alive.
I've moved mine to the mantel. He has stood on a table to look at them and walked away. I will keep you posted. I may move them again, just because if he breaks things on the mantel or he falls he may get hurt. Think I will place them on my computer desk. :)
I am eagerly awaiting the results of the experiments. I will say that there are far more things in this world than we will ever know. Everything is energy. Energy is never destroyed, it's form is just changed. Animals are definitely more sensitive to certain energies than humans. Keep us posted.
