Here's a link to all our past Front Page Slide Show themes...some we repeat every so often, but I'm looking for NEW ideas for the coming months. Check out what we've done...and please make your suggestions here!
Some things to consider
...themes should be themes that are fairly easy to capture/photograph or things that don't involve too much interpretation--otherwise it might be better to just start a thread on a photo theme and have people respond that way.
...there should already be a fair number of photos that FIT the theme on the site -- this means that members wouldn't all have to take brand new photos, but could if they wanted to.
How about Air-Doodles? Have we done a series that showed them in the air, as in leaping over an agility jump, through the tire, over each other, through a hula hoop or leaping for a ball or balloon? I know those are some of our favorite shots of Mater and it would be fun to see others.
I am a doodle newbie, so please forgive my suggestions if they are redundant to others or what has been done before. I also admit that my suggestions may only work if members are willing to take new photos, so I don't know how well that will work. So, here it goes:
Kong Doodles (shots of Doodles playing with Kongs or Doodles with their favorite toy)
Mischief Doodles (shots of Doodles with evidence of their mischief or "Busted Doodles")
Wildlife Doodles (shots of Doodles interacting with various wildife: birds, squirrels, cats, etc.)
Frisbee Doodles
Soaking Wet Doodles
Beach Doodles
Hiking Doodles
Backpacking Doodles (with dog backpacks on)
Kissing Doodles (kissing their human family/friends)
Playing Doodles (action shots of having fun)
Yankee Doodles (patriotic theme)
Baseball Doodles (Doodles showing pride in their favorite college/pro team, could do other sports too)
Recoupadoodles (doodles on the mend aka "Doctored Doodles")
Birthday Doodles (showing birthday outfits/ festivities)
Spread Eagle Doodles (lying, sleeping on their backs all stretched out)
Therapy Doodles (shots of therapy Doodles at work making others feel better)
Well, that's all I can think of right now... Thanks for creating and maintaining Doodle Kisses!
"Naughty Doodles" is still my favorite one of all. Whenever I need to laugh I look at that slide show. It should be used for therapy LOL Another good one was Dirty Doodles,
How about doodles and their favorite toy. I'm new so this probably is an old one. Some doodles love their stuff toy like a baby. Duke has a Moose that was bigger than him and he used it as his security doll when we brought first brought him home, but now he is much bigger and rest his head on it still when he feels it needs him. lol
