I just saw some beautiful work by Kassie in the Art Cafe. She works in all sorts of media, from cake decorating to pottery to sketching and watercolors. http://sites.google.com/site/smitakasargod/home
We have so many talented artists on DK and I just wanted to make sure more of us are aware of these folks and their work. Sometimes there is more to life than training, feeding and even doodles themselves. I also recommend stopping by the Art Cafe and seeing the work of Linda, of Linda and Toby.

Camilla, of Camilla and Darwin, does beautiful cakes too but I can't find her work right now--maybe someone will help out.
In the Photography Group we have some spectacular pictures from great photographers but they are spread out throughout discussions and assignments. So come on in and browse around when you have some time.

I'd love to see your stuff Camilla. I love cake decorating too. I consider it more a craft but I don't really know where art ends and craft begins or maybe they overlap :-)

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea there was such a range of tremendous talent. Now I will be spending even MORE time browsing through doodlekisses. Not sure if that is a good thing for my productivity!!! ( supposed to be finishing painting my basement as we speak......)
