Sad news

Our doodles, Zola and Max, were both hit by a car this week. Both died. Devastated doesn't begin to describe our emotions...please keep our family in your thoughts.

I cannot even to begin to imagine how you must be feeling. There are no words to convey how I feel for you and your family. I just would like you to know that there are many people including myself who are feeling your pain and sharing this terrible sad time with you. I mourn with you for the loss of your precious Zola and Max.

There are no words to describe what you must be going through....the closest would be "inconsolable". Jan...it must be so hard for you and your family right now. Someone sent me these words when my dog Buddy died...it helped me a lot. "The pain of losing them can never ever be as great as the joy of loving them". These words made me cry but I kept repeating it to myself over and over again and somehow it gave me strength. I hope it helps you also. May you find the strength also.

What a terrible loss of their companionship for you. Please know you can remember Zola and Max by posting a photo of them on The Doodle Messenger's Memorial page. There are other Doods there and they wouldn't be "alone". You can write words of remembrance also to go under their photo's. The webmaster's addy is on the Memorial page -just send her your favorite photo/s and your own special words.
