Mariner has a tooth abscess

Last week our son, Alex, noticed that Mariner face was swelled.  Sharon and I brought him to the vet.  He immediately said it was a tooth abscess and gave him Clavamox.  Within a day or so we noticed the difference.  We couldn't beleive how much weight Mariner has gained.  He is now 90 pounds.  Instead of giving him his Potaasium Bromide with ice cream - it is now low fat yogart.  Not as tasty but alot less calories.

I hope Mariner's tooth is better very quickly!

The yogurt will be good for Mariner while he's on the Clavamox, too. It will help replace the good bacteria in his stomach that the antibiotics destroy.

my friend's boxer had a tooth abscess that got real bad. He had to have a few teeth pulled. But he's 100% all better now. So scary. Hope Mariner is feeling better quickly.

Oh, poor Mariner.  I'm sure that tooth was pretty painful for him.  He is a really "big guy".  Hope he's feeling better soon.
