Where do you bathe your doodle? Tub? Shower? Outside?

 I just replied to a discussion where some lucky doodles have their very own walk in shower!!! And started wondering where it is that most of us wash their dirty doods?

I bought this http://www.petedge.com/product/Paws-for-Thought-Portable-Booster-Ba... for $116 including shiping from CostCo without a membership. We haven't used it yet but its a pretty good set up. Very stable, not difficult to set up. And I will be replacing the sprayer because the one they supply is totally ineffective.

My dogs get bathed in the laundry room that was set up for dogs with double sinks and counters for drying and grooming.  Of course hot water and a sprayer.  Sure saves the back.  With our larger doodle (105 pounds) we had a ramp that he used to get to the sinks (with a treat extended of course).  We can lift the smaller doodles.

Lynda --- What type sink that fits a 105 lb doodle?  Can we see a picture please?

It is a double laundry sink.  Hondo (105 pounds) would stand in one with his front feet in the other.  He would turn around by stepping over the divider in the middle.  I will get a photo to share.  However, he had to use a ramp to get up to the sink.  We can lift our other doodles, but they can also "walk the ramp".

Here's a tip for saving your knees when bathing dogs in the tub: Use those cushioned gardener's knee pads. I use them every time, otherwise my knees would be shot for the week.

I have a two person jacuzzi tub with a seat built in. Its still a two person job- I sit on the seat and hold Hudson still while DH washes and rinses :)

He scratches at my shower door when I am in there though so I'm thinking when he gets bigger he may be a shower dood!

Well, my family and I own a grooming place and we have self wash doggy tubs with 4 sides so it is really easy to get my dood a bath. I am not just saying this because we have self wash tubs but I think that a self wash place is the best because you can leave the mess and your dood gets really clean!:) It is actually fun too:) Oh and, we do have dryers.:)

When I first saw this photo, it looked like Murphy was in a sink!  Kind of gave me vertigo--like that would be about the teensiest dog ever!
