We had originally gotten Bella for us to each share in the doodle love when we are in different rooms. One for each of us. Murphy always seemed torn like "Which way should I go?" So sometimes he wouldn't go anywhere. Now we have Bella and she is like a shadow!!!  In the kitchen, living room, bathroom, right along side me while we sleep. I just love it and didn't realize how absolutely curious they can be with every little thing. Murphy had always been a little aloof and disinterested in what I was doing.

I should have named her Nelly, for Nosey Nellie!!!  Has her nose into everything I'm doing!! LOVE IT!!

Do you have a clingy nosey doodle?

I really tend to agree with this.  Although Charlie loves his walks and needs the exercise, on days when I am very busy and don't pay alot of attention to him he lets me know.  About mid-afternoon he will start ringing his bells but won't go outside.  I have finally figured out that what he wants is for me to stop what I am doing and give him his "lovies".  I will hold him and sit on the couch and we will watch tv for a half hour or so while I pet him and then he is fine.  And to think that when he was a puppy he didn't want to let you hold him at all!  But he always has been a velcro dog...just one with an independent spirit!
Quincy is totally a velcro dog although I have noticed lately that he is only velcroed 95% of the time, maybe it's because he is growing up.
Bodi follows me everywhere.  He wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to go outside or look into the fridge!
Oh yes, we also wouldn't want to miss something that might fall out of the fridge and hit the floor either.
Duncan is velcro too! the only time he doesn't follow me is if we've gone to bed and i realize i forgot to shut the lights downstairs or plug in my cell phone in the kitchen...mind you it's usually 11pm and he's fine to stay on the bed until i return....but seriously that is the ONLY time he won't follow me. I worried a lot about it when he was a puppy because he had separation anxiety while we were crate training but he's gotten so much better now that he's a big boy (2). He still hates when i leave the house but will lay down on his dog bed and chill until the velcro can be re-attached!
It would be totally rare for Gavin to ever be out of sight of either myself or my DH.  He dosen't have to be on top of you, just in the same room.  He is super nosy and likes to keep an eye on what is going on.  He really likes to be outside though,  preferably with one of us, but alone is okay too.
Darwin shadows me very closely ONLY when I am in the kitchen. LOL. If I'm not in the kitchen, it just depends. He's affectionate and loves to cuddle when I'm on the couch. But if I'm just moving around the house, he doesn't follow.
Vern and Fudge are not velcro dogs and I love it. I had two labs that never let me out of their sight and I much prefer it the other way. They will sleep in the Foyer while I am doing housework, etc. but they do check on me from time to time. Fudge is more likely to check on me than Vern.
MY two doodles are sometimes content to let me go upstairs alone although Luca will usually join me in a while. As long as they know I can't leave the house without them they are OK. But now, like most evenings, Luca is lying right next to me and Calla is a few feet away.
Totally YES! Charlie follows me everywhere I go in the house, even when I have to go potty. She is always looking at me like " What do we do now?"
Yep  Wilson is very  nosey  in fact yesterday  because I was  upstairs and it was his dinner time, he came up to get me  put his big furry paw on my leg and said "MOM  DINNER TIME ! ! "  Gotta love it    And I do

Molly is my daytime velcro dog, she stays at my side all day.  At night she sleeps under the bed.  Abby is more independent during the day, at night she wants to  be close to me.
