The pictures just dont do it justice! Nobody told me that losing teeth would be so messy! She's lost most of her baby teeth already and I thought she just had her canines left, well last night her back molar was just bleeding EVERYWHERE!! ! It was a mess... Note above her mouth- that is all blood (the pictures make it look brown, but it was bright red!) It was onn her paws...

On her bully stick (I have a picture of that too but thought it was too gross to share!)  On the carpet... and our friends had their little Chihuahua over and his fur was full of blood! It was definitely not pretty.

We thought the tooth had fallen out already but when I stuck my finger in there it was hanging by a thread so I quickly yanked it out, triumphantly I might add (hehe), and surprise the bloody mess stopped!

Here she is after the tooth was gone, smiling- probably saying thank you mommy for taking that pain away! haha .. You can see the tooth missing in her mouth there where he gums are showing and the red mark is.

Oh the joys of having a cream colored pup!

As a side note: my DH took the tooth when I wasnt looking wrapped it in cleanex to look like a ghost - drew eyes on it and gave it to Bailey... apparently his parents did that for him when he was a kid. I shouldve took a picture of that! Very cute!

Ouch - poor baby - it hurts!  Rooney didn't have much blood but he rolled around on the floor, head betweens paws acting like a drama queen.  I love the last photo - all is well once again - good job mom!
Is there a doodle tooth fairy and did she bring any treats to exchange for that tooth? I think Quincy swallowed all of his, I only ever found one baby tooth.
Wow that never happened to Huff. Huff barely bled.
I never found Jack;s baby teeth either, I really wanted to well because I am a geek like that.. We will see what puppy number two brings .. Hopefully not such a bloody mess since my mom used to throw up at the site of us having a scrape on us when we were little and she is the primary care giver or this new puppy to be
awwwww poor baby.... Sasha never had any blood, I found a couple of teeth on the floor.  When Oliver was teething he chewed a lot, when I would find blood on Sasha I knew Oliver lost a tooth.  He was always playing with his mouth wide open and likes to wrestle with Sasha.  I guess each dog is different when they get their new set of chompers :)   good luck and keep her busy chewing on the doggie things and not the furniture.
You were lucky to find one. I never did.  Oh, maybe it is still embedded into my arm!  He was such a monster at that age.
I like the Jaws Sound in your title. Just noticed that. Made me chuckle
LOL!! I love this!!  I have a lot of Rosey's teeth but only a few of Bandit's... I remember when Rosey was a pup and me and my Mom were running errands and Rosey was in the back seat and she kept making a hacking sound and so I had to pull over and stick my fingers down her throat and waaalaaa it was a tooth!!  I still have it!!
I love what your DH did - and it goes with the blood running down the beard!!
as messy as that sounds, im kind of jealous - we never found any of Coopers teeth :(

Owwie...poor Bailey.  I can't believe you just yanked the tooth out.  :-(  But, the smiled says it all.  What did Bailey do with her ghost tooth????

We used it as a pressure ball and pushed it against her sore gums.... It mustve brought some relieft because she just sat still for a minute or so. Then of course we threw it out- I didnt want to be cleaning up kleenex shreds all the next morning, haha!
