Our new puppy Hudson

A few months back I posted here asking advice as a prospective doodle owner.  Well I'm happy to report that we brought home our Australian Labradoodle Hudson yesterday and we are already in love.  He has been great ever since we picked him up.  We had a 4 hour car ride home and he was a champ.  We started the crate training right away and he did not make a peep at all last night.  He slept 7 1/2 hours straight!  He's been doing really well with the potty training too.  And we can already tell that the breeder did a great job socializing him.  So we couldn't be happier with our new addition to the family.  Thank you to everyone on DK for all the help and advice!!!

Happy Hudson day! He's just precious. So wonderful that he was good in the crate. That was my biggest obstacle with puppy raising Duncan. He's 2 now and way past all that and just the perfect companion. I wish you all the best with your new addition....

I just love "new puppy" stories!   Hudson (love his name!!)  is a REAL doll!!!   How wonderful that you've had such a great start together....keep us updated with news and pics!      Welcome Hudson!!!!

What a cutie!! I have a good friend with a Portuguese Water Dog named Hudson--it is a great name! Good luck with him!
