What was your favorite song as a teenager?... You know, the one that drove your parents and siblings CRAZY!

 

My friend just made a GREAT CD for me with lots of my favorite current songs...then... right in the middle she threw in "I Think I Love You" by the Partridge family...It just cracked me up.  Even though I was only like 7 or 8 yrs old at the time. I totally remember the song. One of my friend's older sisters had it and we played it DAY AND NIGHT!

I don`t know if I drove my parents nuts but my neighbour drove me stark raving mad, we lived in a town house and my bedroom shared a wall with a teenage boy next door, to this day when I hear this song I want to scream. The Knack- My Sharona, yuk yuk yuk. I hate that song. He would play it, over and over and over and over and over and over.................................

I don't think I have ever driven my parents crazy though. I think they like my music choices. I guess they think it is better than me listening to Screamo (Eww, haha:))

Okay, my MOM drove we crazy playing this ONE Frank Sinatra song.... The workd we knew... I just found it on you tube and I'm listening to it as we type..lol. All my childhood memories just came rushing back.



OH and Tom Jones Delilah...lol. She was so dramatic.

OK let me take you back to the 60's and my all time fave would have to be Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison. Reminds me of sock hops at school - do they even have those anymore?

Ok I have to put this....because I'm being honest......As a teenager in high school (keep in mind I graduated high school in 2002) my favorite song to play in the car that drove my parents INSANE was The Thong Song...by Sisqo....LOL as shameful as that is!!!
