Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

You have more chance of getting a predictable size from and Australian labradoodle, not an early generation labradoodle or goldendoodle. Goldens tend to be bigger than labradoodles.
Even with the Australian labradoodles you cannot be guaranteed - Cooper and 2 out of her 3 other siblings I know are bigger than both Mom and Dad (and they are all girls!)
I would go with a mini or medium
I was always told take the weight at 4 months, double it, and possibly add 10lb - this means Cooper would be around 50lbs, but she is 60lbs (her siblings are 55 - 75lbs, all girls)
thank you everyone for your amazing input and feedback really can say enough thanks! You all are a world of knowledge.
