Have any of you heard of the Potty Park or have one? My breeder highly recommends them and the pups are already trained to used them. I haven't been able to find reviews for this particular brand http://www.pottypark.com/. I am debating purchased the small set for my puppy.

Can anyone give any insite on the product or thoughts/opinions?

I went to the website and this looks very interesting.  Would you use it inside, outside, or both?  I was thinking it would be cool to have outside so that he only would go on that.  As far as inside, although it SAYS it doesn't smell, I'm wondering.  Seems like it would have to smell to some extent.  It would be nice though if you live in an apartment or or if you are gone at work all day or if you could take it on vacation in hotels or whatever.  Interesting idea.  Kind of reminds me of a litter box for dogs.  Let me know if you get it & how it goes!

I live in an apartment in San Francisco, but we have a large backyard. I was thinking of getting it for inside the apartment when I have to go to meetings in different parts of the bay area while the puppy is still young. For the most part, i won't be gone long enough, but sometimes i have to be out for about 5 hours I have an exercise pen as well and ready that you can set up the exercise pen with the crate inside and have puppy pads or this potty park on the other side. That way the pup can play in a designated area and now have to hold his bladder for too long.

I am going to see the pups on the 28th, so i get to see the potty park in action. We'll see if it actually doesnt smell!!

I've seen these advertised before. Rings too much of a litter box to me (one of which I'd had for 23yrs with my last indoor cat). A receptacle that holds animal waste... its gotta smell. However, that said, I can see it being put to good use if your dog becomes accustomed to it, and you do have to leave a pup for extended times. Puppies go potty A LOT  and OFTEN. I think we were on an every 20-minute schedule with taking Lucy out the first 4 weeks or so. Now, at nearly 22mos., she only needs about 3 pee breaks a day. I'd be careful though not to confuse the pup if you plan to take it outside for breaks as well. It might get confused as to where it should go. That would be my concern.

I just took a look at the potty park.  Very interesting, but pricey...  Our last dog was trained to go on a puppy mat, which worked very well, but he was a small dog 7 lbs. and not a chewer.  Our doodle, is going to be much bigger around 40 lbs. and not sure if we can train her the same way.  We are sailors and spend a great deal of time on a boat, so having a designated area for her to use would be awesome.  I would be very interested to hear what your thoughts are on the product if you buy it.

FYI  instead of buying the puppy mats at a pet store.  We went to Sam's Club and purchased the incontinent pads for humans.  They are bigger and much much cheaper.   For 26.99  you get 120 pads...
