Sunday DH was picking some corn for dinner. Haley decided he wanted some too. The first one was just an ear which he picked himself. Next thing we saw was Haley running out of the corn patch with a whole stalk. He had just gone in and pulled it up. He lay down with it and proceeded to eat his prize ear of corn.

Love the pictures!
Tomatoes, preferably green, are the vegetable of choice at our house. Both Bridget and her fur brother Cooper sit in the yard munching away. So far we've only had 3 little cherry tomatoes stay on the vine long enough to ripen so we can eat them :)
Now those are just the darn cutest pictures.
Forgve me for spoiling the party in here but Corn Cobs ARE Dangerous. Extremely. Or did he just eat the stalk? Starlit loves the silk but I really have to fight to make sure no cobs are ever around.
She also loves, green beans, sweet peas, and...... the rest I have a fence around. I really do not want to find out what she could do to my garden.
My old lab used to lay around and eat squash. He basically ruined a garden and had a great time doing that!
Now that is healthy eating!!!
Do not let him eat the cobs.He can develop a bowel obstruction. Make sure he eats only the niblets. One of our past dogs then a labrador nearly had to have surgery after she stole corn cobs.
I know I am a prty poop but cobs are very dangerous.
