Thank you again! I'm trying to stay calm, but Camus has been throwing up non-stop since 5:30 PM

I am trying to stay calm, but am really worried.  I have never experienced anything like this before.  Camus started throwing up at 5:30 PM today, and it has not stopped.  I stopped counting at 25.  I am going to take him to the vet first thing tomorrow morning, but is there anything I can do to help him tonight?

UPDATE:

Doodle Kisses Rocks! -- Thank you everyone!!

Even though Camus is sick, considering the possibilities I think I got the best possible news.  I was just given the results of all of the testing done on Camus and the diagnosis of Gastritis.  The vet told me Camus' stomach lining is thickened, which meant he has been having problems for some time.  This makes perfect sense since I knew he had a sensitive digestive system, which is why I gave him pumpkin and yogurt (both of which he has recently refused to eat).  And, since he will no longer eat yogurt or pumpkin he has a lot of gas.  He was dehydrated, so electrolytes and potassium levels are off and he has slightly elevated pancreatic and liver enzymes.  His other blood work looked good, no sign of infection and the x-rays showed no obstructions.  He has been given fluids and anti-emetics.

He will be monitored and follow up testing will be done.  His diet will be bland for a few days, cottage cheese, potatoes (he does not tolerate rice very well), and chicken, or I can soak his kibble in water for 15 minutes.  I also need to feed him 4x daily instead of twice. Poor Camus just started playing after 9 weeks of recuperating from a fractured paw bone and now this.  I think in addition to his new few, I'll pick up a new toy as well.

Thank you again!  I really appreciate everyone's concern. Camus is home and resting peacefully.

Phew! what a relief. I was so worried when we hadn't heard back for a bit. I'm so glad Camus is going to be ok and hope he is back to his playful self in no time!
Yeah, so happy for you both...if Bruin were here (20 more days) he would pass on some puppy breath kisses!
Glad I read the update first and he had been to the vet for treatment.  Hopefully everything clears up over the next few days.
Get well soon Camus.
I have been worrying about Camus all day.  I just got home and searched through the discussion before finding that you updated it.  So glad to hear that he is doing better and that they know what is wrong.  Our Doodles are just so precious to us that it breaks our hearts to hear that one is having a problem.  Keep us posted on his recovery.  Hug and kiss to Camus!!
Poor Camus! What an ordeal he has been through! I hope you both feel significantly better tomorrow! So sorry!
This poor guy has been through a tough time.  At least this is something that can be treated, and hopefully he'll be feeling much better in the next day or so.
Oh my, I was following this thread all day waiting to hear how Camus and you are doing.  Glad to hear that he is doing better and that they will be following him further.  I was so worried, that when I looked at first now, I missed the update...Hugs to you and Camus, and let us know how he is doing tomorrow please....
