Spend a whole day on DK? And admit it.....

Does anyone else out there spend a whole day on Doodlekisses and think of it as a great day??? Or how about look forward all week to Yappy Hour and want to kick yourself because you are just too busy to get to it or remember it on Sat.morning?

I have been sitting here since since about 10:00 am, and it's now 3:30pm and I am as content as can be doing nothing but reading the forum.  I have so few days to just do nothing, or anything I want, and I chose to spend this one day here. And what's even wierder, is that I am starting to feel less and less guilty about it.

My doodles are at my feet and I can rub their bellies, talk to them and actually have them look at me and pay attention, (not everyone does that to me around my house). We are all very content and cozy today. And if I sit here another hour and a half, I'll be right on time for Yappy Hour.

Please tell me I'm not alone and that I must need to get MORE of a life!  That some of you HDA's and HDA's- to-be can do the same thing.....Hello, anyone else out there....????

What??Are you saying it's not normal to be on DK all day???WTD?? I've had a window open on DK since 9 a.m. Standard procedure here!!  True, I am in and out but I always have it at my fingertips! :)  You're doin' just FINE girl!!

If I'm home - the DK page is never down.  And yes - I'll admit sometimes it is most of the day!!!!

Oh, what a relief, if you two ladies have the courage to admit this, then I stand in good company.  I have forum responses that I am following go right to my phone, and check in all day at work. I just can't respond and can't read the other forum posts from my phone. Gotta figure that out yet, but that could be dangerous!!

Any time I sit during the day....whether it's to check the stock market, have a glass of water, cup of coffee or just put my feet up for a few minutes....I automatically open DK to see what's happening.   In the winter, on those long, cold days....a day spent on DK would keep me warm and smiling!

Sue, that is me exactly! I spend all day on DK, can't wait for yappy hours, then forget and get so mad when I do. :-)

Melody, Yappy Hour happens every Fri. at 8 pm Eastern time. It is happening right now! When on any DK  page you will see 3 little symbols at the bottom right and a little green circle. If you press the center icon it will open a window and you can follow (lurk) or join in Yappy Hour which is live chatting by DK members on all sorts of topics. . Be sure to grab your favorite beverage, relax and join in the fun. :)

I can't remember Ricki...do you have to join the Yappy Hour Group first or can you just go in?  Everytime I get there everyone is saying good nite.  You should be having the same problem since you are on the Western side of the US right along with me!!!

I think so too. BTW, because anyone can "lurk" I think it wise not to talk about things you wouldn't want everyone to know.
