Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

So many of our doodles have unique quirks and nuances. However, I suspect many of these are more "doodle traits" than not. I thought it would be cool to list some of the silly things our "doodles do" and then respond back to others in "voting fashion" if our doodles do, or don't....

Anyone want to play along with me?

When it is past Baileys bedtime (9pm usually) and she decides she wants to sleep on the floor by the couch while were watching tv, she will let us know if were too loud.  She lifts her head, stares at you for a second, drops her head and lets out a very LOUD "sigh?huff", like shes telling us to shut up! haha we both burst out laughing everytime!

My doodle snores. :(

Some times he sighs (one very deep sigh): "life is so tough". :)))

When he wants to greet us, but we make him to sit and don't let him jump on us, he sits and "dances" around on the floor trying to keep his rear end down, crying/growling at the same time.

He leaks my husband neck and ears every time DH seats on the driver seat. Never does this to me.

He climbs on the car seat only from the right side, because he is right-pawed and always lifts this right paw for support. That works only on the right side.

Aww, I want a video! The video of Camus "arguing" is super cute!
Myla burps-OFTEN!!! Whether she's chewing on a bone, getting a belly rub or licking your face! She's always got one brewing. Chloe dear lets them out the other end-the real meaning of silent but deadly!
haha, BB burps often, too. They aren't like people burps, but longer and gurgle-ier. Its funny when he does it, we "tease" him, and he just looks at us like he has no idea what he did. ;-]
ROFL! Lachlan's a real belcher too - with a fantastic sense of timing. He seems to save his until he has an audience and then brrrrrraaaaaapppppp! (Best ever was when we were in the park being patronized by a local Kennel Club rep because he's a mixed breed ... right up into her face, brrrraaaaappppppp!)
does your doodle run very fast? Bonne Bouche is consistently the fastest runner at the dog park. He's even outrun an ex-racing greyhound... He's learned to give the chasers a "handicap" by cutting corners tight, and allowing them to "catch up" and then speeding away.
Sadie is not very fast at all--she's one of those corner cutters!
Rooney is a speed demon - Stuart is a much slower klutz.  Cute as all get out but Stuart is improving with age - he'll never catch Rooney though.
Stuart is my burper - and farter too but those are always SBD.  He burps often and loud - lol.
Pixel's my farter and free with the SBD, usually when he's draped over my shoulder for a snuggle. "OMD, cat! Was that you? Seriously?!" and he just sighs happily and snuggles closer, ignoring the choking sounds I'm making.
Huff are usually SBD. But sometimes I hear "pfftt". He also burps at random times and that is so cute.
